Sure, getting your buddies from other companies to hand you work works. But what happens if they don't have more work when you need it? What happens when you want to change the type of work or complexity of work your shop is doing?

I've spent a good portion of my time in manufacturing looking for, and hunting for, new customers and opportunities. All while negotiating pricing for the new projects I find.

It's less of a science and more of an instinct.

In the world today. Everyone is ignoring emails, phone calls, voicemails and so on. But something I have learned, something which has allowed me create much success for integrators I have worked for in the past is this...

It's pretty much impossible to ignore the smiling and friendly guy standing in your lobby.

No one seems to be rolling out the red carpet for new suppliers these days.

However...

There's always a back door, side window or picnic break area at every facility.

It takes the correct person with the a very precise personality to make such an approach work. I happen to be that person with that very precise personality.

Such an approach also requires someone who knows your offerings well and how to explain them quickly and in simple ways. Engineering jargon and other technical details aren't necessary at this early stage of bringing in new customers. Trying to relay this information too early in the new customer process is almost a guarantee you'll lose them.

So if you're looking to grow, but don't want everything that comes along with a full time sales rep.

Please consider reaching out to me through the contact section of this website.

I can even assist you with increasing the complexity of the work your shop does. By also being involved in the project management of the work I find for you.
