People travel from all around the world to take part in the Woodward Dream Cruise each summer. They bring their cars with them too.

This history and admiration of the famous Woodward Ave derives from the nostalgia of hot rods, muscle cars and street racing from the 50's, 60's and 70's.

Woodward Ave currently stretches from downtown Detroit, MI (where mass production of vehicles first began) all the way out to Pontiac, MI.
However before the gasoline engine was invented. Horses and horse drawn vehicles ruled the roads. Even on Woodward Ave. There was even once a horse drawn trolley which helped people get around downtown Detroit.

And in those days Woodward Ave was a wooden plank street.

However the spirit of racing was alive and well during those early days of this developing city. And just as today. Racing and speeding were illegal.

Just as is the case today, this did not stop a few courageous individuals from partaking in this illegal activity.

This movie is a fictional story involving those brave and courageous souls who dared to break the law. Doing so for the sake of fun and entertainment!
