Jose & Pete's Worldly Wisdom is a Country Music focused variety show similar to the Muppets with a Wayne's World twist!
I'll be playing myself in this Country Music focused and puppet version of "Wayne's World" y'all. I'll be one of the real people, a Country Music recording star, who interacts with the puppets in this Muppets like variety show.
With this show y'all. I'll be spreading a similar message that Mr. Rogers did.
Only this message is geared towards adults in adult ways.
Jose is the "Wayne" in this Country Music focused, puppet version of Wayne's World y'all. He's a kind and goofy guy with a heart of gold.
He's also that dark horse when it comes to the ladies. A dorky kinda dude who wins them over with his honesty and caring heart.
He's also the unannounced leader in the group. People respect him as their leader, because he respects them too.
Pete is the "Garth" of this Country Music focused and puppet version of "Wayne's World". A variety show similar to the Muppets.
But don't think Pete is a sidekick. Because he's not even close to that. Pete is so much more than that and Jose knows this. The whole gang does.
Pete is a simple guy, but timid wouldn't be the word to describe him. Not like Garth was.
Pete is quiet, but by no means timid. When Pete speaks y'all. He does so confidently and with distinction.
Only those who are forced to y'all, ever face the truth in this world. This is what makes OG one of the wisest puppets on this show.
OG is a gentle and kind old black man with an extremely dirty sense of humor.
He's quite often dropping major truth bombs in the show. And doing so in fun and humorous ways.
He's also a Blues singer and performer.
Annabelle is very sure of herself. A confident and kind cowgirl. She's essentially what Rose from the television show Golden Girls would be if that character was more confident and bold.
Annabelle tells many stories of her days back on the range in Oklahoma. Stories which hold the same silly humor and moral values as those Rose used to tell.
I've been saying for years. The world needs more Roses and more stories from St. Olaf.
So I've created Annabelle to fill that void.
Petunia is a saloon girl in the local watering hole. A real minx of a woman. She's sexy, saucy and has a heart of gold y'all.
Be careful guys. Cause when Petunia is wearin her Petunia Dukes shorts...
She just might give y'all a woody.
The character of Momma Squirrel in this puppet and Country Music focused version of Wayne's World. Well y'all. She's essentially Minnie Pearl.
Even though my path in entertainment began performing stand up comedy. I've never enjoyed watching anyone's stand up comedy.
That is, except for the amazing, imaginative and creative stand up comedy of Minnie Pearl. The sexpot of Nashville.
Minnie Pearl could spin a great story and tell dirty jokes in creative and imaginative ways.
Not direct and angry delivery like stand up comedians use.
My hope is to bring back some of her stand up comedy routines through the character of Momma Squirrel and this show...
