Tom Cochrane sang it how it is y'all. Life is a highway.

I've now traveled along that highway long enough to overcome some more fears y'all. I've finally found a way to make this album my own.

A true and authentic Chris Rebel original

Below are the songs I've written for my first album y'all. I'm not the singer in these versions, but this gives y'all an understanding of what my album will sort of sound like. I wrote the lyrics and AI wrote the music y'all can hear below.

I'm currently, and actively, seeking a songwriter to work with. I'm not using the instruments y'all hear in these AI recordings. But I am keeping the basic musical sound you hear.

I grew up in a very racist suburb of Detroit, MI y'all. So I had to hide my love of Blues and Jazz from everyone I knew. That fear stuck with me for the rest of my life. Until now that is.

Now that I'm creatin a Country Music album, I was still afraid to bring these musical influences I love so much into my songs.

However...

Just like Elvis did almost a century ago y'all...

This white boy is bringin "black" music to the masses once again. All while also demonstratin a white cowboy CAN have rhythm and soul... and do this while singing authentic Country Music songs.

I'm eliminatin traditional guitars y'all. My lead guitar will be a table and pedal steel guitar. I love how those pedals can REALLY bend them notes y'all. And my lead steel guitarist is gonna be playin great Blues licks like those from Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson and T-Bone Walker.

My rhythm section will be banjo and fiddle combined.

I'm usin an upright bass and I'm bringin Blues/Honky Tonk Piano into these songs too.

I'll be working with this song writer I find to bring in some great aspects of another great D-Town Blues legend as well...

John Lee Hooker

A little information about my live performances y'all. I primarily sing my own original music. I may throw in some covers to fill time if needed.

My first album, "Hey! Fun... That Other F Word Y'all!" has 12 songs which is about 45 - 60 minutes of performance time with me filling space in-between empowering the audience.

I also recite my Cowboy Ditties during my performance. Another fun way to entertain the audience. This is something I can remove if necessary. Andrew Dice Clay had is nursery rhymes. This cowboy has my Cowboy Ditties!

Total, without covers, including my Cowboy Ditties y'all, I can perform a 90 minute show. I'm also a stand up comedian with great stage presence and delivery.

With some covers, I can stretch my performance longer.
